SensMax SE/DE Manual Data Collector

The SensMax SE/DE handheld data collector is a portable, hand-held device designed for local offline data retrieval from stand-alone, non-networked SensMax people counters. Equipped with a dedicated short-range infrared transceiver, it allows field personnel to collect traffic data directly from the sensors by simply pointing the collector at the sensor and pressing the “Read” button.

Once collected, statistics are uploaded to a PC or laptop via a standard USB connection for full analysis within the SensMax EasyReport application. This portable reader provides an essential data bridge for isolated installations, historic buildings, public parks and temporary installations without IT networks or power supply.

How System Data Collection Works

The SensMax SE/DE reader wirelessly downloads statistics via short-range infrared from distances up to 1 meter. Field operators sequentially scan multiple sensor locations, storing all collected pedestrian traffic logs in the device's high-capacity internal buffer until ready for export to a PC.
